201 for the 501
This series is designed to provide education and training to help organizations move to the next level of operational excellence. It is appropriate for nonprofit organizations that have completed the 101 for the 501 series.
This FREE program is generously funded by Junior League of Boca Raton and will take place at 261 NW 13th Street, Boca Raton, Florida. Participants will meet every other week for half-day, in-person sessions. Refreshments will be provided. A subject matter expert will deliver a seminar focused on moving your organization to the next level.

The curriculum includes the following nonprofit management topics that are aligned with Nonprofits First's Accreditation Standards:
Board Governance: Help Me Help You
This session clarifies the board’s role in fundraising and developing the strategic plan. Participants will explore strategies and techniques to encourage board involvement. Learn how to protect your organization and mitigate risks such as cyber security issues.
Human Resource Requirements: Beyond Hiring and Firing
Participants will gain a better understanding of the importance of written policies, how written documentation supports decisions, and how successful onboarding can increase employee satisfaction and reduce turnover.
Management and Fiscal Controls: Out of the Red and into the Black
Guides financial management, including understanding financial state, keeping money safe, managing restricted funds, and cash flow forecasting.
Fund Development: Show Me the Money
Delivers a detailed understanding of effective fundraising strategies, stewarding new and existing donors, and diversifying revenue streams and its importance.

Each organization that successfully completes all four modules receives one year of free access to the online self-evaluation and resource collection. The 501(c) Pro Toolkit is a $750 value that includes over 90 sample documents that are essential to successful nonprofit operations. In addition, you will have access to dedicated staff and volunteers from the Nonprofits First Accreditation team to assist with questions and the Toolkit.
