1. Tell us about your mission and cause…

Palm Health Foundation’s mission is to inspire and fund solutions for better health in Palm Beach County through community collaboration. Through our fundraising and grantmaking, we support health initiatives that promote the adoption of healthy lifestyles and tackle the social, economic, and environmental factors that impact health in our neighborhoods. Since 2001, we have granted more than $91 million in Palm Beach County health.

2. June is Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month. Tell us about your Brain Health Initiative, and how the community can get involved…

Our overall health and wellbeing is intimately connected to the good health of our brains. Through our charitable funds, community initiatives, and unique partnerships, Palm Health Foundation is leading a movement to advance brain health in Palm Beach County. We inspire innovative networks between brain science, community members, and care settings to create what we envision as a “brain coast” – a hub for enhancing the well-being and quality of life for residents in our community.

3. How has membership in Nonprofits First benefited your organization?

Palm Health Foundation is a grateful member of Nonprofits First. Our staff benefit from annual opportunities to network and learn from peers in the nonprofit space. Our membership suits the collaborative spirit of our organization.
